THEODORE ROOSEVELT SAID, “IN ANY MOMENT OF DECISION THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS THE RIGHT THING, THE NEXT BEST THING IS THE WRONG THING, AND THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO IS NOTHING.”

Many companies have spent millions on systems to help them make the right decisions only to discover they have redundant or conflicting data. Analysts have been added to corporate staffs to cleanse, mine and interpret this data. However, all too often their search for decision-worthy data proves to be an elusive goal.

Senior executive success often lies in their ability to get the right data, analyze it, ask the right questions and determine the proper actions to ensure business performance and profit. As a result, they are in search of an intelligent enterprise. They want an enterprise with the proper processes, systems and information in order to wring out every last drop of value for their stakeholders.

Why does decision-worthy data continue to be so difficult to find? Can decision-worthy data be consistently delivered? How does one make informed decisions with obviously imperfect data?

At CSC’s Single Source of the Truth Executive Exchange, we will address these questions and discuss what companies are doing to improve their access to data worthy of being used to make critical, informed decisions. We look forward to sharing our insights and hearing your perspectives on this exciting topic.
